REPLACE - Join us for week one At the Table with Ruth! In this first video in our Bible study on the book of Ruth, we look at the importance of warnings in the Word of God. The Bible is filled with warnings from a loving God, not to keep us from what is good but to keep us in what is good. King Josiah’s story in 2 Kings 22 shows us the truth of what happens when we make the choice to heed God’s warnings leading to beauty and restoration in even the most broken places.

REPLACE - Join us for week two At the Table with Ruth! This week we look at Ruth’s story in Ruth 1 and Zacchaeus’ story in Luke 19 to see what true change is all about. In a world where we are often judged by what we do or do not do, this life changing teaching shows the truth that God is after our hearts! Heart change comes first and leads to behavior change as we invite Jesus into our ’house’ giving us the ability to know the good, acceptable will of God.

REPLACE - Join us for week three At the Table with Ruth! This week’s study on tables in the Bible opens up the importance of being invited to a table. Looking at Ruth’s story and Mephibosheth’s story in 2 Samuel 9, we see that an invitation to a table gives you access to the host, an opportunity for close conversation and permanent standing as a member of the family. Exciting news knowing God extends an invitation to His table as well!

REPLACE - Join us for week four At the Table with Ruth! This week finds us on the threshing floor with Ruth and Boaz at a pivotal moment in their story. In agriculture, threshing floors are places where grain is threshed in order to keep what is beneficial for food and leave behind what is not. In 2 Samuel 24, we see King David on another threshing floor after a moment of disobedience. God used his season on the threshing floor as a place to leave behind what was not beneficial, pick up what was and fully surrender to God, the same purpose we experience in our spiritual threshing floor seasons today.

REPLACE - Join us for week five At the Table with Ruth! In our Bible study books this week, we celebrate the marriage of Ruth and Boaz recognizing that God uses all things for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 is a Scripture we quote often, but do we understand the meaning of this passage in the way it was intended? Can we believe that God works everything together for good in the hard times? Sharing a heart wrenching personal story of loss and forgiveness, Laura Piraino shares the truth of this verse in a personal testimony along with her teaching.

REPLACE - Join us for week six At the Table with Ruth! In our final chapter in our Bible study book this week, we reflect on the fulfillment of Ruth’s story found in Luke 2, the birth of Jesus Christ. Another unexpected woman in the town of Bethlehem giving birth to another miraculous baby. Mary’s story, Anna’s story and the story of Laura’s grandfather, Paul Sweeny, leave us asking the question, what will we do now with the truth we have learned?
