I convinced the local Stop & Shop to train and hire me as a cake decorator. Combining my love of sugar and art, I continued to decorate cakes through college, working at several bakeries on the Northshore and in Boston. Now I just decorate for fun – every once and awhile I bust out my trusted wilton cake set to make an elaborate birthday cake or a festive batch of cupcakes.
